Roos Verwijs will start her PhD in September 2021 and will work with Professor Camilla Cattania and Professor Nori Nakata. She received her Bachelor degree in Applied Earth Sciences from the TU Delft and is currently finishing up her triple joint Master degree in Applied Geophysics from the TU Delft, ETH Zuerich, and RWTH Aachen. Roos is currently exploring machine learning techniques for the estimation of moment tensors in the Groningen Gas Field in the Netherlands for her thesis.
